WSDOT is taking public input on expansion of the toll lanes south of Bellevue. They plan to eliminate the HOV lane and replace it with a toll lane and a second toll lane.
Start here for a detailed explanation of some of the many flaws in design. (additional info here) They will hold a public hearing next Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Bellevue City Hall. (Click for details) Show up and make sure your voice is heard.
If you cannot attend, they are also taking public comment until May 2 by email or mail. Community members may submit comments by email at i405comments@wsdot.wa.gov, or by traditional mail to I-405 Environmental Manager Allison Hanson, 600 108th Ave. NE, Suite 405, Bellevue, WA 98004. Mailed comments must be postmarked by May 2, 2018.
We plan to provide the signatures from the petition as part of the feedback. Thank you to those of you who contributed to help pay for printing of the petition with 32,000+ signatures and comments.
Also, don’t forget that if you live in the North end (or even if you don’t) that there will be a Panel discussion with transportation leaders sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County. Details are here.
The toll lanes are violating the law. Listen to the tax payers. NO TOLLS

The tolls up north are supposed to be removed since they didn’t meet their requirements. Why are they still collecting and even being allowed to discuss expanding this nonsense?
