Attend this and you will learn you are getting NO MORE GENERAL PURPOSE LANES! That’s right. The carpool lane will be made into a toll lane and another toll lane will be added, but no new general purpose lanes. Also, 2 person carpools will not be allowed without paying the toll. If you don’t like this, contact the Chair of the House Transportation Committee, Rep. Judy Clibborn, and voice your position. Her office phone number is (360) 786-7926.
Rep Clibborn is from Legislative District 41, the district from Bellevue to Renton. And she loves the tolls so much, she blocked even having a public hearing regarding them and blocked the state House of Representatives from holding a vote.
If you live in that district, make your voice heard. Remember, if you vote, you have a voice.
