What your representative sees when you sign

Wonder exactly what happens when you sign the petition? Based on the address you enter, the website determines which district you live in. It identifies who your representatives are and every day each state representative and senator gets a summary email that looks something like this.  So if you had any doubt before that your signature makes a difference, know that it does.  They do not ignore numbers like these.  Rarely does a petition generate over 11,000 signatures in ONE DAY, especially from a grass roots movement not backed by any special interest group, business, or party;  Just citizens. This is as grass roots as it gets.
